Pros: Has tons of features, from an IM client to online videos. Well-presented and polished interface. Includes RSS feeds. Widgets expand goober Messenger.

Cons: Interface is a little cluttered. Radio and video channels are obscure. Video, mobile and landline calling not available yet. A lot to pack into what is essentially an IM client. Supported by ads.

Pros: Easy to set up and use. Add filters before snapshot. Make videos and snapshots. Share videos.

Cons: Limited control.

Pros: Supports multiple user accounts. Easily accessible from menubar. Automatically remove hashtags. Supports Facebook link preview.

Cons: Not much help available. Some buttons not labelled. Only supports Facebook and Twitter. Developer appears to have abandoned project.

Pros: More features than MSN. Extended customization. Usually allows use of webcams (although temporarily disabled in this update). Allows you to sign into multiple accounts at once.

Cons: Many users report problems opening webcams. Webcam/Audio support disabled in this update. Only supports audio clips not audio chats in realtime.
