"If you are a reader, I would highly recommend the kindle. It is a fantastic tool when on trips that include a lot of down time like flights and layovers and always saves the day when boredom strikes! The ease of access to books is also a huge feature that should not be overlooked!"

"Amazon Kindle is one of the best resources for reading books. Amazon Kindle has their own book reader device and also has an app which is available for Android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows which means you can access your books purchased with Kindle on multiple devices. "

"There's only a small handful of apps that I install on every device, and Kindle is on that list. It is the most ubiquitous reading app for a reason. It works well, it is well integrated, the sync just works. It's really the best reading app."

"Kindle has held a monopoly on the best reader for ebooks ever since it hit the market, and there's no sign of it letting it go. It's fantastic for reading on your computer, tablet, or phone, and the cloud-based system makes it easy to never lose your place."

"I really enjoy my Kindle because this saves me a lot of space at home. Instead of buying physical books, I can access them in my Kindle device. So I'm thrilled when Kindle PC was released. I enjoyed my ebooks on PC since then."

"Amazon Kindle lets you read any ebook you want, whenever you want. There's a lot of free or nearly-free content, but I think the best use of the app is for borrowing or purchasing new books that you'd otherwise buy in the store or wait on a waiting list for in your local library. It's really satisfying to just choose a book and start reading immediately. The features are nice and a lot of work has been put into making the screen very legible."

"The kindle app not only lets you read books from amazon, but any books you have purchased from other sources as well, as long as they are formated as MOBI files. You can download hundreds of classics for free, as well as various free offerings from Amazon that change monthly."

"Kindle is a must-have. Their book library is unbeatable, and growing all the time. You will never run out of books to read. If you have Amazon Prime, you will have a lot of free content to read, too. Moreover, Kindle Unlimited is a "Netflix for books" service, that will ensure you never run out of GOOD books to read. Kindle books often cost just a few bucks, especially on sale, and there are always sales. If you're a big reader, Kindle is a must-have, pure and simple."

"This is the best app for reading and getting access to hundreds of books. I have all of my books saved on the cloud and can download them or delete them from the app or cloud at will. For a book lover this app is awesome. I always have something to read and I can look at Amazon for the latest E-Books to come out and get them quickly with ease. "

"Amazon Kindle is the top of the line in reading digitally served books and other literature. If you ever thought to yourself, "Why should I lug around a giant book when I can just have hundreds of them on my device?" then this is what you need to be using. It's not perfect, but it's pretty much the answer we were all looking for once the concept of tablets and such came along."

"This app works alright but a recent update has introduced a lot of issues with the interface and it can be buggy on some devices. The issues aren't all that bad though and it still works fine for reading, so it's worth giving a try."

"This app will likely have a selection of free books. However, this is not exclusively for free books, but mainly for paid books and general reading. So this might not be the best app fro this exact purpose."

"The Kindle app makes it so easy to read anything you want, any where you want. It's comforting to be able to carry a library's worth of books all on one device. It will never replace an actual book, but it's a close substitute."

"If you love reading on the go, like I do, but hate having to lug around that 500 page new release, Amazon Kindle will thrill you. It's like carrying a bookcase around in your phone. You can purchase or in some cases even download ebooks from your library and read them from anywhere. There are great settings to adjust the size and font of the app so it is the perfect fit for you. I use this everyday."

"Just a great way to read. Not quite the same as a book, but a single book is just that: one book. I love having a whole library in one small tablet. It's also easy on my eyes compared to reading from a computer screen. "

"I've used half a dozen e-reading apps and if it wasn't for the prime integration I'd never use this app again. It constantly crashes in the middle of a page or drops back to the library. I've actually paid full price for e-books from other sources that are free with prime just to be able to actually read without the inconvenience. Amazon basically pioneered the e-reader, and this is the best you've got this far into the game? C'mon Amazon get it together"
