Meanwhile, a 2004 document from the Japan External Trade Organization shows that 60% of the world's animation is Anime. Moreover, the highest grossing anime film of all time is Your Name, also known as Kimi no Na wa in Japanese. This film has brought a total of $357 million worldwide in 2016 based on Box Office Mojo. According to Patrick Frye in his article on Inquisitr, it was in 2016 when the "phenomenal rise of anime distribution in markets beyond Japan" happened. He also added that "North America is one of the fast-growing markets for anime." As a result to the popularity of anime internationally, many famous streaming sites also feature anime shows so that other anime lovers from all over the world can stream their favorite shows. Some of these websites are Crunchyroll, Hulu and Netflix.
