Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming

Steven Roberts
Written on April 5, 2019
"One of the things I liked most about this game is its environment. Not like some of the medieval games I've played where you only have to hack your way thru hordes of enemies, GoT: WiC also lets me strategize my every move and plan ahead in joining alliances as well as making trades. A must-try for every fledgling Westeros lord!"

"A coloring book app seems fun, but why not simply use a physical copy? I suppose it could help with clean up, but I personally believe there are more interesting games to find for kids, games they cannot otherwise access like they can a coloring book."

"A cute app and my kids love it. A great way to keep children busy, or to share some coloring time. The content is limited though, so it's going to wear out it's welcome before too long. "

"This app is amazing. You can access so many childrens books on your electronic devices. This is such a great solution to my kids not being interested in physical books and only wanting to play with electronics. Now that their books are on the electronics they want to be read to all the time! Highly recommend!"

"The game seems like a lot of fun for kids and the family. Since the show become a huge hit on netflix, I can see how all members of the family could get together and enjoy their time diving deeper into the world they enjoy watching. The quest-like missions seem like a lot of fun for kids to spend time developing their analytical skills. I also like the aesthetic of the game that immerses the kids to the video game look of the Stranger Things time frame. I grew up in the 90s and seeing this game reminds me of the old days playing Zelda with my friends and siblings. We had many great times during sleepovers where we spent all night playing. This game looks like the kind that would do the same for this generation. Overall it seems like a great game for kids."

"This was a pretty good recommendation. I played violent games on the NES and I'm fine, so I tend to ignore whether a game is violent or not. This was probably the best match of the bunch, in my opinion."

"This really depends on the kid I guess. I got this for my friend's 5 year old and he liked it a lot. But my other friend's 8 year old didn't at all. She complained about how few sets there are, how little there is to do. It sucks because if Lego just combined their piles of apps into one it'd be enough to satisfy even adults, but as is this is just some thing that might entertain a very young child for a couple of hours."

"This game is my son's absolute favorite, especially since he has been a Legos fan and collector. The game keeps him engaged in a constructive manner and encourages him to use his creativity through simulations. The interface is user friendly and is suitable for beginners too. "

"This is a great game that helps your child through matching build better memory skills. I see so many people just handing their children games that have no benefit. This game will increase your child's mental ability which will help them with all other aspects of their lives. Great game that is a great tool for any parent."

"I'm a little too old for KIDS match'em but my niece loves it. It reminds me of that old TV Game show "Concentration". Children really love match type games and it helps with memory development as well. And the best part is that it's free."

"I put this on my kids preschool android to help them learn to read. I'm still the parent, and it's still my responsibility to teach them and take the lead. This is just a tool so they can continue to learn and do something constructive throughout the day instead of sitting in front of the electronic babysitter. She seems to like Tommy pretty well, that's a plus."

"I am always trying to find games for my kids that will not only be fun but help them learn too. I ran across Duolingo on google play, what a great app. My boy instantly took to it and started playing non-stop. And best of all, he is actually learning something while having fun. It might be one of the best learning app's I've seen and your child will learn a little grammar along the way. "

"Don't waste your own or your child's time with shovelware like this garbage. Toca Hair Salon 2 has absolutely zero redeeming value. There is nothing fun or entertaining about this game at all. It's purely a time-waster. At least let your kids learn something (maybe a nice 'tycoon' game?) or express themselves creatively (Minecraft, maybe?). This is just nothing. This is dull. I would rather stare at a blank screen than this garbage. Move along."

"Yes, it's true, my cat likes to play video games. Crazy Cat is good for about 20 minutes every morning before the search for other adventures begins. The downside is that it seems as the mouse leaves the screen she loses interest in this game. Still fun though."
