    DID YOU KNOW

In Mathematics, 9 is believed to be a magic number because if you multiply any single-digit number (any number from 1 to 10) and add up the digits of the product, the sum would always come out to be 9. On a related note, the most popular favorite number is 7 according to a survey conducted by a British mathematics writer.

At an early age, developing good mental math skills among children is an essential factor in developing a stable concentration level, listening skills, and self-confidence, research reveals. In the United States diaspora, National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) research findings says that despite the progress made in some areas of math, the improvement on the basic arithmetic skills of American students are not as impressive as researchers expected. But why is there a focus on mental math? Because it is unique. Mental math is a good life skill that can be used practically outside four corners of the classroom, for instance buying potato chips or a candy bar in a store. Moreover, for teenagers and adults, strong arithmetic skills can be utilized in knowing the price of sale items, or computing for a tip, or how to split a bill among your friends when dining out. It just offers some sort of convenience because computing would be as easy as A-B-C.
