This is the de facto "easy" short video app for Apple devices. It's been around for a long time. It lets me make movies with my phone and work on them on my Mac, and there's no problem starting on one platform and finishing on the other. I don't like that it was an extra purchase, since the software comes on the Mac, but for the compatibility and support it was worth shelling out the five bucks. More

Quik is in fact pretty darn quick. This isn't for high level video editing, this is for basic video editing done blazing fast right on your phone. If you need to film something on the go and get it edited and shared/posted quick, this is solid. I wish it had a few more optional features for when you have a little extra time, but I won't hold it against Quik. More

Adobe Premiere is some of the best software out there for video editing. I've used it for making some pretty cool videos. So the solution is a very good one. Definitely worth using and downloading.
