"While I used to know GarageBand primarily as music software, I found it to be quite useful for making podcasts. Podcasts don't really require the most significant of editing that most sound software wouldn't be able to handle, but I found being able to add bits of instrumentation here and there to indicate breaks and lighten certain moments to be an effective tool. Being able to alter sections of voice by pitch and such was also neat, but I prefer a more vanilla experience, so it was a bit much for me."

"I wasn't impressed with this tool the first couple of times I tried it. I've been using Audacity for years and someone recommended that I give this a shot. Maybe I'm just stuck in my own patterns here, but I found myself looking for the same controls and features I had in Audacity and couldn't find them quickly enough to feel productive. Maybe over time I'll learn this new software."
