"Opera isn't bad, not bad at all. Though I personally have a limited experience with it. That being said none of my experiences were sour, so I'd say give it a go."

"When it comes to browsers for my Macbook air, I still find the default Safari very reliable. Not only this lessens the hassle of me ever installing another software for my browsing needs, this browser is reliable and blocks most of the ads on the webpages which I do not wanna see. Good job Apple."

"What I like about Chrome are its very simplistic features. Not too complicated interface. Not too cluttered as clutter tends to distract me. I'm giving this 4 stars as a browser for my Mac."

"I was looking for a browser that would not freeze up on highly, highly demanding sites and I finally found one here with this one. I feel like it is safer than Chrome and more performance friendly than Firefox. Overall, it is a good choice. I feel like it gets the job done just right. I can't really complain about this. It really does what it is intended to do. I can't go back to Chrome or Firefox anymore."

    DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that up-to-date browsers can protect you against phishing and malware attacks? The risk of getting exposed to attackers is high especially if you are not aware that the sites you are visiting are malicious. In fact, a Wombat Security’s latest report shows that 76% of organizations have encountered phishing attacks in 2017. The most popular form of phishing is the disguising of malicious attachments as fake invoices. This tactic tricks the users to open the phishing emails. Email is also considered the most used delivery vehicle for attackers. According to Symantec, the highest rate happened in 2016 in which 1 in 131 emails contained malware.

Meanwhile, a study shows that updated modern browsers feature Safe Browsing technology that alerts you when the web page you visit is suspected of being malicious. This means that it is up to you if you still wish to visit the site after being alerted of its possible risk. An example of a browser that features Safe Browsing technology or pre-check feature is Google Chrome. This technology works by doing a quick check against the list of suspected phishing and malware sites. This list is kept locally on your computer to protect your browsing privacy. Google will verify the match against the local list and the web page you are visiting. If there is a match, a red warning page will appear to inform you that the page is possibly dangerous.

"As a starting developer, I find exploring Vivaldi a little bit exciting because this gives me a chance to build my own browser from here and allows me to customize how I want to browse the web. I think any newcomer will easily grasp Vivaldi. This is fun to use on a macOS."

"I wasn't much of a fan of the default Safari browser on Mac. I decided to give Vivaldi a try, and I'm very glad I did. It's much more sleek and streamlined. It does everything Safari can do, but I feel it's laid out better. It's more intuitive and easy to use."

"This is just not the best browser for mac. The default safari browser is better then this in almost every way imaginable and then there is still Google Chrome coming in second. I don't know of anyone who uses this browser and I won't be using it either."
