"Managing a production infrastructure can be complicated. Terraform takes the difficulty out of the equation and codifies the information into a workflow that can be shared by the entire team. It also takes any changes made to the infrastructure and refreshes the possible outcome. Definitely important information to know."

"We use Terraform at my current job. I will say when we first started using it I was a bit confused and found myself struggling to get things to work the way I wanted. I did eventually get used to using it and now I would not want to stop using it as it has simplified things for me at work."

"I remember the old days, loading my Linux boxen from 35 floppies. How the times have changed! Now, I can just create a quick config file with vi, with easily readable (anyone else remember PERL? augh!) sentences, and have a webserver and NFS share set up. Just like that. Awesome! I tried this when we went down to Haiti to help set up emergency infrastructure after the hurricane, and NixOps worked like a champ to let us quickly deploy IC centers."

"NixOps is a simple and stripped-down tool for getting NixOS machines to work in a network or cloud. You enter a declarative statement and NixOps will perform the necessary steps to carry out that action. For a beginner like me, NixOps is a bit too stripped down, and a bit daunting. I need a video tutorial or a class to help me get the most of it."
