"It's easy to forget that Amazon even has competitors these days, but Barnes & Noble is still my go-to. I read a lot of novels, and love having bookshelves filled with books. B&N seems to send me coupons all the time, and if you're lucky enough to still have a physical B&N in your area, you can buy online and often go pick up the book to skip the wait on shipping. Great selection as well."

"This book has nothing to do with erotica. I was highly disappointed as I was really "horny" and was looking to get excited and perhaps get some action with my wife. This book was the total opposite of that, as it is a historical fiction novel. While interesting, it did nothing for my sexual appetite."

Two tormented souls brought together years later to assuage the hunger of a desperate, irresistible attraction With lush sensuality and unerring insight, Sylvia Day explores the underpinnings of intimacy and desire. A standalone historical romance novel written by Sylvia Day which centers on the love story of Lady Jessica Sheffield and Alistair Caulfield."

"Even though I have read every book in this series, I didn't always LIKE every book in this series. The first book definitely hooked me and I've been reading these books ever since. This book is my favorite in the entire series.(behind the first one of course)I loved that she stayed true to who Minshom was, basically a mean SOB. But, she did a great job making us understand why he was the way he was. And, somehow he really was redeemed. I totally didn't expect it. Like most, I questioned whether Minshom could really be redeemed or even likeable in any way. Well, he still was't that likeable but his story captivated me. And I loved Jane, as well. Both had depth that many of the other characters in this series lacked. Great book overall."

I must say I am not happy with this book. there was far too much sex and not enough story, it got very tiring pretty fast....matt got a little too crazy for my liking and I felt Hannah was stupid for half the things she allowed him to do to her. I really was expecting so much more, I'm not sure I will even finish this series."

"Kinky erotica often gets a bad rap these days. People don't understand that their portrayal of violence, abuse, and the like are fantasies, and it sometimes leads to rookies in the BDSM community not knowing what they're doing. I've run into things like that from fans of books like Mile High, and I tell them - would you play a video game about playing video games? Are movies about people sitting in theaters? So, then, books about BDSM aren't about healthy and communicative relationships. There is sexual violence in this book - a sadomasochistic session even lands the MC in the hospital. If you don't like sexual violence, then this is a HARD pass, and for that I give it one point off - but if this is your thing, this is a wild and erotic fantasy."

It really is not as sexy as it sounds. It rambles on with one nun schooling another in the arts of love, during a time when certain body parts were rarely mentioned in polite society. It's funny. It's weirdly charming. And it is sweetly sexy, the way that gropy first time you did it was completely memorable, completely goofy, and completely sexy in its own way. Try it. You may like it."

But if you think this is going to be basically a novelized version of a porn film in a Jane Austen setting, it's not that either. (Whether that's good or bad depends on your taste...)
