"Don't let the cheap cover deter you from reading this book if you like western romance novels. I thought it was realistic take on two lovers trying to integrate into a society where they don't really fit. It was a more grounded take on forbidden love. I was very moved by Ella's emotional conflict. I really fell in love with these characters."

The Husband List was a decent read. Didn't knock my boots off, or anything, but it was enjoyable. Do you like historical western romances? Then give this a read. "

"This is my favorite genre of book - westerns. The characters feel real and the setting is great. The author does a great job of not making this your typical plot of hero saving damsel in distress. It's gritty and leads to a satisfying conclusion without being overly sentimental. I highly recommend it."
