"It's easy to forget that Amazon even has competitors these days, but Barnes & Noble is still my go-to. I read a lot of novels, and love having bookshelves filled with books. B&N seems to send me coupons all the time, and if you're lucky enough to still have a physical B&N in your area, you can buy online and often go pick up the book to skip the wait on shipping. Great selection as well."

"My son bought me this book for Christmas. I love reading and I love knitting. This was a cute little book that had both my interests at heart. My son did a great job on picking me out a book because I really enjoyed it. It was an awesome mystery that revolved around knitting I thought this was a really thoughtful gift."

"his book is a MUST read. It was a page turner for me and I couldn't put it down. Because of the author's loss of her own child I found this book to be SO realistic. I hardly ever cry when reading books, this one touched me to the core. I think Ann Hood may be my new favorite writer. I've already ordered two other books by her and plan on buying all of them. Do yourself a favor and read this book, it is amazing."

"This is a great novel that involves knitting. If you've ever wanted to read a story that involved knitting, this is it right here. The story is okay, but the knitting is divine."

"'The Friday Night Knitting Club' by Kate Jacobs is like attending a real knitting club without actually leaving the house. This is neither good or bad. It is great in terms of Jacobs having nailed the intricacies of a weekly meeting of a group of women, but it is also not the most interesting reading. Thankfully there is quite a bit of higher drama and plot that keeps the novel going and the reader interested to the end."

"Okay I know knitting is an odd thing to be seeking out, but honestly this is one of the most attention grabbing mystery books i've read in years! I've read every book in the series and I recommend that you do as well. Actually, one you read one you won't be able to stop yourself from reading the rest!"

"If you're into knitting and wondered whether it could be adapted into a story, look no further. Knitting Under the Influence is a tale about two women whose knitting brings them, and other people, together. It's a fairly novel concept and I found the book fairly interesting. If knitting is not your thing then this book might not be for you, but it doesn't focus too much on it."
