While the problem suggests one could “build awesome towers,” this just does not come across on the website. There is surprising little intel as to what this game is about on the websites but the video clip gives the impression that it is just a “shooter” game for the younger set killing balloons (vs. people) seems to be the point. Where does the “hire cool special agents” part come in? While it is colorful enough and the graphic look kid appropriate, as I am not training my kids up to love shooters games, I would not buy it. Seems like a mismatch between problem and solution here. More

A great kid-friendly game. This requires a Steam account.
by jib L null
I want to start this off by saying Cheryl Carroll is the single worst person on the planet. This is a fun kids game ive been playing since i was a kid and im 20 now. Its not a shooter. The lack of interest she shows in her kids hobbies is insane, and that shed give a low review on someones work just to be a spiteful j*r* and horrible parent, while flat out lying is ridiculous. This is a game about monkeys throwing darts at balloons. its a tower defense game. it says it in the title, learn to read. A tower defense game, i where you build towers to defend an objective. in bloons, you build monkey towers who throw darts at balloons. You level up, earn fun in game rewards, tons of maps and levels, tons of tower types like ninjas, airplanes, dart towers, cannons, construction workers, special agents, boats, etc. Its tons of fun, its family friendly enough for a literal 1 or 2 year old. If youre offended by this game and think its considered a "shooter" you have never left your house since birth, and are a sad sap waiting to crap on everyone else for their fun.

I agree with this, Scribblenauts Unlimited is a great game especially for kids. It allows them to be creative and have some cartoon violence without being too gory. It relates to how kids feel like their imagination should be. More

When you have kids around some games are out of bounds. I have to keep it mild and friendly for them.

I think it's a great option for family's to play together. I am an avid Steam user myself. Although I have never played this particular game I have played many others. I tend to aim toward the more Free to play kind of games myself. This game is going for 4.99 and it is still an Early Access game. I wouldn't say its the best game. I am sure there are other games on Steam that are family friendly and free. More

There aren't a lot of family friendly games out there that everyone can get involved in, parents and kids. Our go-to is Just Dance 2017 - it's got all the songs the kids are familiar with and as parents we love competing against them and they kids love us dancing like fools. We play every Friday night and it hasn't got old yet. Even if you don't have kids, you'll probably get hooked! More

Looking for a family friendly game. My children and I love Just Dance 2017. Even though it could get a little competitive in our house we mostly just have fun with it. More

We've been playing this series of games for a long time now. This is a great family game, everyone gets to take turns and no one has to wait around very long for another turn. Check out the songs first to make sure you don't have issue with your kids hearing them but the game itself is great. More

I'm a huge Star Wars fan and I grew up playing with Legos. Suffice to say the combination of the two things in Lego Star Wars is quite brilliant. The game isn't too difficult and allows for hours of enjoyment. It spans the first 6 movies and it's delightful to see memorable scenes and locations from the movie recreated in Lego glory. More

Great game to play with the whole family. I've got three kids who are 9, 12 and 14 and they all love Star Wars. This game lets them play at their own level, interact and work with each other and I don't have to worry about inappropriate content. More

I needed to find the some games on Steam for my young children. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga provided them hours of entertainment, glued to the screen, so I could actually get some work done!! More

I bought this game for my eight year old son. He is such a fan of LEGOS and star wars and all that. He said it was insipid, his words. If a game this bad forces a child to open a dictionary and learn new words, it must be bad. Get it together, or I'm abandoning this franchise. More

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is what I play with my nephew when I babysit. I actually stayed the night last time so we could play more together in the morning. I had no idea this game was so cool. It takes place in outer space and there is so much action and so much to talk about with your little ones while you play. More

My family never seems to find a game to play that we all enjoy. This is one that everyone can find a level of fun. My children all enjoy beating the villains, and I think my husband enjoys the challenges the most. This is a great game if you have a wide variety of ages in your family. More

This is a really cute game. It is hard to find games that are family friendly. Kids who love Lego will love this game. It looks just like the movie.
by Esperanza Varela
LEGO video games are a great choice for family friendly games. However, the only issue I see is that LEGO Batman 3 may have a storyline that requires the user to play the first two games. Other than that it's ideal. More

Another winner in the Lego family friendly games. Lego games have been a hit since they were introduced and Marvel Super Heroes continues with the same winning formula. Plenty of destruction but no gore or real violence, so safe for younger players. Hard enough yet not to the point where younger kids would get overly frustrated playing. Enough sarcasm and hidden fun to keep the older kids interested. More
by Ralph Reynolds
Marvel characters are always attractive to the kids and therefore the game above is a nice example of a family friendly game. But also it requires a little bit knowledge of the characters and the plot before. There are lots of family friendly games out there which you can play without knowing anything about them in the first place. Anyway, Marvel Super Heroes is a easy to play game with lots of fun. More

I needed a game that was family friendly to show off to one of my cousins and someone I know recommended that I get LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. It was a blast to play with and the good thing was that it was friendly family. More
by Brittany Perry
While Steam is the best site for games of any genre, I don't believe LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is family friendly at all. Besides having cute, animated characters, the game is violent with unsavory themes throughout. I did not like the impression the game left on my two young children. More

I'm an avid gamer that tends to play sports and shooting games. I often play call of duty with my brother and cousins. However, my aunt isn't very pleased that we play war games, so I had to find another game we could all play that is just as fun and would pass my aunt's approval. So naturally, I went on steam and started surfing through their library to see what could replace call of duty for us. As I was scrolling around I found Rayman Origins. I had not played Rayman since the original came out for the SAGA. I was immediately hit by nostalgia. All those years I spent loving every minute of the day playing Rayman were some of my fondest times growing up. I knew that I wanted to share that with my brother and cousin, so right away I bought. The next time my cousin came I formally introduced him and he immediately fell in love with it. The graphics and mechanics are of course far better than before and it looks like a completely different game. But somehow Rayman Origins captures the essence of the original. We played for hours and had just as much if not more fun than when we were shooting zombies. A great game for all of those who love the adventure of battle, but want to keep it friendly for the family and younger kids. Great game and great story. More

This is virtually a more stylized version of a 2D Mario, in the sense that worlds are a little more weird, the main character is and so on. It also has some light combat. That being said, it's a fun game and family friendly. More

This game really does not appeal, at all. It is far from the best solution to this problem. The graphics are primitive, and the gameplay is boring. It looks as if it were designed for a three year old. There are far better family friendly games on Steam. More
