DOTA 2 is an almost perfect MOBA: the heroes are interesting, the balance is top notch, there's a llot of mods... The only bad thing are the childish audience. Dota 2 is available for PC on Steam. Though there's no information about being able to play in a LAN on its Steam page, it looks like it is possible to do. More

This game is from 1996, that's right, and it is still entertaining! 32 levels and you get to be the hero as you fight your way through 6 battles and face off against an Orge. Grab your weapon and come on an adventure! Just make sure to avoid the Grenade Launcher. More

I love the concept of a game that actually is part of our history. The game is not just shooting people (though that does happen), but it is also a game of strategy and I really appreciate that it's just not another mindless shooting game. Magicka is a good action adventure game with a unique spell casting mechanism that makes the game highly entertaining. Seems to be clear of any bugs that it was reputed to have and I enjoy playing it with my friends. More

If you like zombie games, this game is for you. RPG games allow me to let off some steam and what's better than fighting against a zombie apocalypse.

Project Zomboid is a great 3D Top-down survival game. It is a good LAN party game for PC.

This is actually a pretty fun game for LAN but I think that it is the best. It is at least worth having ready at a lan party though.

Arma 3 sounds like fun and for a true hardcore gamer this could be a hit and definitely turn some heads in the process.

This isn't a lan party game. It's just a mod that lets you play the original and Project Reality.

The game has mixed reviews with quite a few negative review claiming that is too expensive compared to other games of this genre and that you can't add mods. There were also comments that you are only get a basic version and there are better options out there. Apparently the newer edition has cosmetic improvements but that is all they are. Some positive review mentioned nostalgia for their childhood as a reason liking the game. More

I am a big fan of Stream and am always trying out the new games that are available on the site. Recently, I have been looking for new LAN party games that I can play with my friends. I discovered Red Faction and decided to give it a try and I was let down!! Although this game does have the potential to be a great party game, it just falls short. The storyline was not great and the graphic also fall short of the expectations of my friends and I. I would not recommend this game if you are looking for a LAN party game on PC there are many different options out there. My recommendation, DON'T DOWNLOAD. More

This games, based on Mars, would be great for a LAN party game. Multiple players can play at the same time and enjoy the action packed game.

This game was an absolute steaming pile of garbage inside the lovely diamond mine that is the CnC series of games. The origin software requires internet access to play, regardless of intent, and it utterly trash when trying to use in a LAN setting. More

Like everyone else I'm angry at how multiplayer and fan modding was handled in GTAV so I'm really happy that Multi Theft Auto still exists and has a strong player base. Plus it doesn't hurt that thanks to San Andreas' age you can run it on pretty much anything that can run Windows which means even a low end Netbook can play it now. More

Played this with a friend the other day and had a lot of fun with it. The graphics and concept are great. There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to using the twin stick shooter. But once I got the hang of it, we had hours of fun. More

I like LAN party games. I was looking for something new and found Helldivers. It is a little different than what I had been playing. the game play is solid. I like the story line. I would check this out if you are into LAN party games. More

This game is hilariously fun and offer co-op with another friend so you can play together locally or online. There's also level editors and steam workshop support for those levels so its hard to run out of new areas to play with your friends in or make new ones to torment them. More

Who could have asked for anything better? Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory offers support for up to 32 players and it is free for windows, mac, and linux! I guess I know what my buddies and I will be doing this weekend. We will be having an awesome LAN party with this game.
