Lots of thrills in this one, and I like it. It's one of the zombie games, so expect lots of blood and dead bodies. The zombies are waiting for you (whenever you get close they snatch you!). For an offline game, it's pretty cool and even my teen likes it. More

I can honestly say that I prefer this over the part 2 of this game. This one has a more actrion-feel to it and doesn't shy away from unrealistic features like weapons laying around everywhere in a repeating map and that makes it more fun! More

Dead Effect 2 is a great sci-fi shooter game. A nice, different take on a shooter game, but the app requires being online so it is not a good option for offline action games.

I would avoid Crashlands if you need an action game. I felt like the APRG settings really made the game move at a slow pace and the graphics weren't too great.

We all saw the early graphics comparison videos to the PS3 versions, and the visuals were extremely dark (if fact we can all agree they looked like they were going to be worse than the PS3 version). Rocksteady then delayed the release of this version (based on the negative response to the graphics is unknown). Now that it is here, I will say they overcompensated for the early negative response by making the default brightness extremely bright. Even the IGN review comments on this... the extreme brightness of the environment kills the atmosphere and mood. HOWEVER, if you adjust the brightness settings to about 1/4 of the full bar the game looks amazing! Everything is crisp, clear, and a massive upgrade from the PS3 versions. Hope this helps anyone on the fence in purchasing. Please click "Yes" below if you found this information helpful... I was definitely on the fence (even after the IGN review) but I'm now glad I did. I've been a huuuuuuuge fan of anything Batman-related and this game made me happy because you can play it offline without the need for a steady stream of internet connection. Like every Batman story ever, it's darkness and grittiness is truly captivating. More

This game was pretty interesting as it was pretty realistic. The play is good and fast. The world build was strong and detailed. I finished it and passed it onto my brother who really enjoyed it as well. The virus factor was really intense and the possible end of the world was a good goal to prevent. More

Middle-earth: Shadow of War follows up Shadow of Mordor, which was one of the best sleeper hit titles of this console generation. This one comes up short though with odd loot box mechanics and micro transactions. The game play is also a little tired this time around, and though the Nemesis system is still super cool, I think they need to change things up if they do a third game. More
