DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that the recent rise of technology has provided studies that the fictional undead being created through the reanimation of a human corpse, otherwise known as a zombie, is now being used as a character to online games? Going back to its roots, The ZX Spectrum computer game Zombie Zombie that was released in Europe in 1984, is considered to be the first video game that focused on zombies. As changes are inevitable and keeping up with the trends are vital, zombie games then became more popular after the release of the survival horror game Resident Evil in 1996. As to the literature, the Western culture was first exposed to the concept of a zombie when The Magic Island by W. B. Seabrook was published in 1929. The story came to a narration from the point of view of a narrator who encounters voodoo cults in Haiti and their resurrected thralls. Consequently, Time claimed that the book "introduced 'zombi' into U.S. speech". Research also showed that one of the thousand reasons people become so accustomed to playing with zombie games is that the human mind thinks that zombies are ideal foes. Some of the most searched offline zombie games are Unkilled: Multiplayer Zombie Survival, Into the Dead, and Plants vs Zombies 2.
