These are hard times we're living, and since I've been using Spire I've been feeling better, more centered.,.. Couldn't recommend it enough!!!"

"'Pacific Northwest Medicinal Plants: Identify, Harvest, and Use 120 Wild Herbs for Health and Wellness' by Scott Kloos is a monster of a book. It comes in at over 400 pages and each of those pages is chock full of information. If you are interested in herbs and natural remedies this book is an absolute must have. A friend of mine complained that it didn't go into the science enough, but I feel that given the extent of the author's personal experience and intensive study the information is valid. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday gift than this book."

"This book is non-fiction and wonderful! I purchased two of these: one as a gift for my mother-in-law (chef) and one for myself. I looked the book up after listening to an NPR program where Amy Stewart talked about her love of botany and alcohol and gave me a taste of her book's content. She was such a delight to listen to (very personable and intelligent). I loved her explaining the history of ciders and agave tequila and I hoped her writing would be equally interesting and lively. It's perfect... great recipes, great stories, great advice."

"After using marijuana for medicinal purposes and experiencing the success of that for relaxation of chronic pain, I've been curious to try other similar botany. I've explored multiple resources for learning all aspects about medicinal plants, but none have as been as useful as the Encyclopedia of Psychoactive Plants. I don't think its hyperbole to say this is the bible or the Britannica of psychoactive plants."
