There is a lot of advice and information on this topic out there, but I feel like this is a good book to start with if you haven't done it before, and it's catered toward people who are trying mindfulness for the very first time. It explains the concepts behind it and also the techniques needed to achieve it in a clear, easy to ready language."

I was able to completely ignore any outside influences and focus only on the what I needed to do. It was absolutely fantastic. I don't think I have ever been as relaxed as this before while doing my work. I generally fidget around a lot, and my mind wanders. However, with this playing in my headphones I was able to focus."

The other day I decide to try an Android app called buddhify - modern mindfulness for busy lives. It was not helpful at all. Instead of providing guided meditations it provides informational lectures. While informative to be sure. It wasn't what I was looking for in a meditation app."
