It has been wonderful in helping me to find a variety of ways to look and think about the things around me. Some images would be great, but don't be afraid from the chucks of text, just pick one and start reading. It was worth it to me, it will be worth it to you."

      "I think this blog provides some strong resources for stress management, especially since it's hosted by the Mayo Clinic which enhances its credibility. Unfortunately, however, the actual content of the blog posts does not focus tightly on stress management. In fact, the posts regarding success and achievement may actually engender greater stress in someone struggling in that area of their life."

      "I don't feel this is a very good tool on how to practice mindfulness. This website is pretty much all basic stuff that anyone can do, and anyone probably already knows how to do.       "I picked this up on audiobook to help me get through stressful commutes. It did not have a good effect on me. The narrators voice was so terribly grating, I could feel my blood pressure inching up the whole drive. Thank heaven's for Audibles return policy!"

      "First of all let me say that "relaxing" music is in the eye of the beholder. But Spotify has to have the strongest selection out there. Some ambient or natural albums focus my attention way too much to use as background study music. But one I liked in the Browse category was a 2017 release "Unwind with Ambient but there are a boatload of others. Spotify rules."

It may be hard for some who have never done yoga since some of the moves involves a lot of balance, strength, and flexibility. I can see how if you are unable to do the moves you may get even more stressed at attempting them and failing. The instructor is very attractive, and I'd certainly want to be in her class, but I don't know if there is anything extraordinary here. I can't make a judgment since I don't know much about Yoga, but it appears to be just basic Yoga, with some Hollywood touches."

      "I have a horrible work commute that involves a lot of traffic and bad drivers. I usually end up getting to work and getting home in a bad mood from it. My friend suggested this meditation app and it is amazing. They are just 5 minutes each, so it doesn't take up the whole commute time, but it is the perfect amount to feel relaxed before work or when I get home. There is music as well as visualization and relaxation techniques, like imagining calm places, that helped me focus on other things. I liked how there were 3 different options, so I didn't get bored with any of them."

Each 5-minute "escape" is a short meditation exercise that is as fun as a game and offers a chance at forgetting about life's daily irritants. Every time I've done one I ended up being in a much better mood in only 5 minutes - that's hard to beat (at least for me)!"

      "I am a game addict. For me this app just made me more anxious. I wanted to play a real game on it but it kept wanting me to 'calm down', 'sit quietly.' This is NOT what I am used to when I play games, so all I felt was "zoned" for anxiety!"

Breathing doesn't work for me as well as some others, probably, but if I'm not TOO stressed it does work. In a full blown panic attack, it's difficult to stop and concentrate on your breathing."

      "PAUSE is a silly app. I fail to understand what clicking on and focusing on a pixelated color blob has to do with relaxation. The app claims to be based on a Tai Chi practice, but I fail to see to correlation. I'm surprised anyone would waste $1.99 on this app."

      "I personally would not recommend this YouTube for a Relaxing yoga class as a good resource for relaxing. While the instructor is nice to look at, she does not give detailed instructions on how to properly take each specific yoga pose. I threw out my back trying some of the poses she poorly demonstrated in her video, which means I have another medical bill incoming to resolve the issue. Watching this video has caused me stress not helped me relax."

      "I keep stressing out over a minor car accident I was recently involved in. My therapist encouraged me to check out this site. I don't think there is enough support to do something like this over the web. I couldn't stop intrusive thoughts from completely derailing. This site was just not for me."

      "I had been having months of insomnia. I lay down, but my brain wouldn't shut off. I was too wound up from a stressful day. Then I found out about the 4-7-8 breathing exercise. After some practice, soon I was able to fall asleep within a minute of completing the exercise. Insomnia is no longer a problem."

My main complaint is that they tried to cram in three separate techniques in a three-minute video, which did not provide any real insight of how to perform the techniques."

If your problem is being caused by excessive ambient noise, you might find them to be a good solution, as they offer good noise reduction features relative to their size. There just might be other lifestyle changes that would be more effective in terms of actually helping you to relax. Another thing to note is that they are fairly expensive."

      "These are comfortable, though I don't like wearing headphones for too long periods of time. They properly cancel noise as advertised, but I feel they could be a bit more stylish. They don't really compete with my Sennheisers, but I use them when I'm too lazy to grab my primaries from the living room."

      "These headphones are a bit pricey, but since Bose is a great price I guess it makes sense. Although the noise canceling feature seems great (I am always listening to music), I would be cautious of using these in the street since it may be dangerous."

      "My daughter has social anxiety and has for some time. I can shop with her up to a certain point, but when she become overloaded, she shuts down. She does not like to go out to our car and wait for me, either. I bought one of these spinners on a whim. She took it with us, and it was interesting to see how much she played with it, seeing as she is almost out of her teens. I do notice a difference in how long she will stay with me now that she uses the spinner. Does it relax her? I think it does. Her face does not show nearly the amount of stress that it used to. It is nice not to feel like I have to rush when I shop so much."
