I've been wanting to write more these days, but I have some tendinitis that makes it difficult. I did some web surfing for text to speech software options, and came across Capti Voice, which comes highly reviewed. There's a free introductory version, but if you're going to be working with big files you'll probably want the paid version of the software.

This appears to be a good solution for a text to speech software need. It does appear to be compatible for the Apple brand as well, so it's a good fit. It also appears to integrate pretty well with the web, google, and dropbox. More

Voicepaper does a good job of text to speech for my Dropbox files, but it isn't without problems. There are quite a few things that trip it up like symbols and punctuation. If they could fix that, I would be very happy. More
