I have this app installed. Have had it for over a year now and I did like it very much but they recently did some changes to the radar part and the size of the radar screen has gotten very small due to adds. The rest of the the app is still good but I need a better radar will be looking for a new app. More

Weather radar gives you real time radar from satellite imaging for the weather where you currently are. The best part of the app is that you can set layers to show you wind direction so you can make your own predictions, watching storms form and move across the world. BEST app for radar More

A visually attractive and effective way of conveying the weather in ones location. I would use this app to check the weather probably more than once per day just to look at the visuals. More

I downloaded the free version during the crazy hurricane weeks we had a while ago. I was totally in hurricane mode and trying to get as much info as possible. Enjoyed the app because it's simple to use and the interface is nice and clean looking. But it won't beat going to NOAA's website for sure. There were surprising holes in the coverage - some obvious zones were missing, which made me doubt the seriousness of the app. Maybe they're just starting and will add more zones as they go. I'm willing to give them the benefit of doubt for the time being but I'll wait before getting the paid version. More

This app is a horrible solution, do not install it. It hasn't been updated since February 2012, which means that it isn't designed for newer versions of Android and that there is no guarantee that it will even work. Just reading over its reviews should dissuade you from installing it. I am warning you right now, if you install this app you may regret it. More

This is a poor solution for the topic. This app is for tracking tropical cyclones and not specifically a weather radar.
by Brenda Newman
This app helped me keep track of Harvey as I watched it head toward Texas. I do not live down there but have family in that area. I liked that I could just turn it on and be kept up to date on what was happening in the area. More

Hurricane Tracker has been one of the best weather radar apps I've seen and used. It helped me keep track of the hurricanes recently which were as or more up to date than the weather channel. More

I've tried a few different weather apps and this one is, by far, my favorite. The interface is aesthetically pleasing and rather intuitive. It's simple and easy to use and in that sense a real "keeper". On the downside, it didn't update automatically (as far as I could tell) and a little tricky to use in that sense. Still, it's the best one available and one I will definitely continue to use. More

In moments like these where we have hurricanes in many different parts of the world, it's better to have an app that can help alert people of the upcoming unfavorable weather conditions. KPRC Hurricane tracker does just that and with ease. The interface is user-friendly and the alerts are spot-on. I have used it and prefer it to other competitors. More
by Grace Thompson
KPRC Hurricane Tracker is a good weather tracker. It tracks all the weather across the country and keeps you up to date on what is going on. This one in particular is for an Android and it is easy to use. More
by William Mitchell
This looks like another fitting app result for this search. Good reviews and a decent number of them. I might prefer something more general purpose for this search though. More
by Vishal Chavan
This app is solid and did the job, helping me track a storm along its destructive course. Ultimately, a very good bit of technology.
by Rogelio Bravo
The KPRC Hurricane Tracker is free, but the reason that's it's free is because it's cluttered with ads. You can't do anything without getting an ad and it makes it very annoying to try and do anything. You can get far better weather radar apps for Android. More

Hurricane Tracker is an app available on the google play store. It is a very timely introduction considering we are right after Harvey and with Irma bearing down on Florida right now. It gives everything you need to keep track of tropical storms. It may not be as good at general weather as some of the more popular weather apps, but it does excel at the tropical storms. It does fit the topic. More

There are years when living in hurricane prone areas is not easy. Knowing the path and having the available forecast path models at your fingertips keeps you current and knowledgeable. Need to personalize settings to view accurate results. More
