Overlord II
Overlord is a role-playing action villain protagonist game developed by Triumph Studios and Virtual Programming. Released on 23 June 2009, this game can be played on Windows PC, Mac OS X 10.9 or later, and Linux.
Overlord 2 is a pretty decent game. There aren't that many villain games on PC for sure, but the biggest problem I had when playing overlord 2 is....it failed to capture the magic of the first one. I'd only really recommend playing this if you played #1. The first is a far superior game, the combat was interesting, unique, intuitive, and never really been done before. The second fails to expand upon this, and quite frankly is only good as a sequel, not by itself. It's a decent suggestion, I've played it and enjoyed it, but there are better, more interesting options out there. More

This new release a few years back got some new talents and improvements and this really enhanced my gaming experience compaered from the first game. The satirical and silly tone of the game I really like so I enjoy playing this whenever I can. More

Overlord II is a fantastic game where you are the villain. You have your own empire that you get to smash and revive.
by Jacqueline Morales
Who doesn't like playing a villain? They always seem to have so much fun. You get to live out some of your villainous fantasies in Overlord II. This is definitely a PC game I look forward to playing. It really helps destress and it's funny. More

Villan games are always cool and fun. Overlord II is okay, definately above average I'd say. There is a lot going on but if you are like some of my friends who can easily sort through a lot of action then you will be very pleased. More
Dungeon Keeper is an action strategy fantasy game developed by Electronic Arts wherein users deploy demons, warlocks, mistresses, etc. against the enemies. Available to play on PC, Android, and iOS.
by Eric Morgan
There are a lot of RPG's where you can play the bad guy but Dungeon Keeper is one where it's based on you being an "Evil Lord". It's not exactly an RTS but it's a cult classic and pretty close to being what an RTS would have been at the time of its release. It's highly reviewed on GOG. More

What an absolute classic for the computer. I even have the original European release on my shelf. I even have the mission disks becuase I just can't get enough playing this game. More
by Nathan Harper
I love this idea! I'm surprised I've never heard of it, with it being 20 years old now. The look of it is so nostalgic, and the gameplay is a lot of fun! More
by Doris Fox
This game is fun. Graphics could use some work. It's a fun twist, being a dungeon master rather than some hero.

After having played the campaign and all of the DLC, I can say War for the Overworld is a true successor to the Dungeon Keeper franchise. It is everything you wished for DK3 and more. I will list a few pro's and cons about the game. More
by Jesse Lucas
I like playing the evil or villain in any game and this game matches my gaming personality. The game is a challenging one to learn but once you learn it, you gonna enjoy this too like I do. More
by Jennifer Anderson
Not as good as Dungeon Keeper.
by Mildred Bailey
Perfect solution. I get to play the role of a malicious tyrant and build my own dungeon!
by Agustina López
War of the Overworld is a very cool game where you get to play the bad guy. It has very dark, undertones with a dungeon setting and is great for anyone who wants to explore the side of evil. More
by Jose Schmidt
The premise of this game is kind of cool and so are the powers, although you should expect to have to sit through some pretty terrible writing, the story really is not this game's strong suit. The gameplay is fun, pretty satisfying gunplay and your powers spice things up a bit. The biggest issue I have with it is the price tag, for a 5 year old game $30 is a bit steep. More
by Marina Márquez
In The Darkness II you do get to play the villain instead of the good guy for once. I've played this game on Xbox and I liked it, but on the PC it's very hard to control. More

The Darkness II is a cool first person shooter that is based on a comic book series. The main character, Jackie Estacado, is the head of a New York crime family and controls a mysterious force called the Darkness. Join the battle in The Darkness II. More

I gave Lucius a shot because steam says the reviews are very positive but honestly I cannot figure out why they are. This game could be a fun romp as a child horror movie villain but instead it is a confusing mess where you need a walk through or YouTube guide to figure out how to do anything (forget being creative) while dealing with voice acting that wouldn't pass in a straight to VHS film from the 90's. More
by Melissa Tran
This game's definitely on the darker side of PC villains, and you'd best not have an issue with child murderers because that is this game in spades. It's delightfully wicked, and the storyline is gripping. More
by Nathan Greene
While it's not exactly what I was looking for, it seems like it might be an interesting game. I haven't heard of that developer studio before so I'm glad to be introduced to them. The game's story also sounds pretty unique. More

Dungeons 2 is a fantastic sequel to the original Dungeon builder game that I loved playing years ago. It's fun to be the bad guy in a game for a change. If you're not careful you'll sink dozens of hours into this game before you know it. It's a breath of fresh air in today's crowded gaming market. More
by Kathy Williams
A super fun, surprisingly cute game that's easy to do in spurts or for the long haul. The game play is simple to understand and I enjoyed getting to play as all the different monsters. More
by Navya Singhal
Dungeons 2 is a fun game where you are the villain, which my kids love! The antics of the narrator are entertaining, as is the fact that you build a dungeon and recruit monsters. Some of the players don't love the comedic element however and find the jokes corny. More

This is a great game to play. This is the best place to purchase it and it's pretty cheap so it's the best of both worlds. It's a wonderful fantasy game and my children and I have had lots of hours playing this game, the only problem with it is it can be very addictive you don't want to stop once you've started. More
by Matthew Cook
"Use your fireball spell on the wheat and roast them like suckling pigs!" This is such a memorable line at the opening that hooked me to this game. It's so good to be overlord even with my noisy minions! More
by Sharon Martin
Great if you like being the villian! I get to be an Overlord with control over a horde of Minions in a twisted fantasy world. What is better than that! More

Rule the world and be an evil mastermind! If this sounds like you, you can't go wrong here. Numerous items and weapons you can add to your arsenal and lots of actions to drive the others nuts in the game (ever want to taunt a government agent? Go for it!). Definitely worth a look, if not a purchase. More
by Larry Mendoza
A friend recomended this to me so I did my own research before finally having this on my PC. I like how I can create my own evil domination around the world. This is such an awesome idea for a game. More
by Lori Coleman
With this game, you get to get your Pinky and the Brain, tonight we're going to take of the world! game on. It's a fairly simple game, but there's something delightfully nefarious about being the one taking over the world instead of saving it More
by Beverly Stewart
This game is so much fun! The graphics are great and you really get to use your brain and think about the next steps you want to take.
by Jack Schneider
This is great! I happen to love point and click games, and I love how hated the main character is. It's pretty cheap to, so that's a plus.
by Philip Butler
This is a good PC game. I like this game.
by Eugene Davidson
Getting to play a villain in a video game is so rare, but this game does it. You are hated in the game and that make things interesting.
by Johnny Henry
I really wanted a PC game where I could be the bad guy. The best one I've found it Assassin's Creed: Rogue. Sometimes you just want to be evil and this game lets you do that. Try it out and find your inner villain. More
by Helen Edwards
Great game for villain wannabees. I slowly descend into darkness while becoming the ultimate assassin hunter.

omg this has to be the silliest game out there. I cant wait to play it.

There are plenty of games where you have to prevent the Zombie Apocalypse, but this might be the first time you have to start it! I really enjoyed the sim aspect of this game, and it's all very science-y. Definitely would play this one again. More

Want to play a villian? Plague Inc: Evolved is the best game where you can play the bad guy.
by Edward Grant
I thought that games couldn't get any better until I played Plague Inc: Evolved, it brings a fun twist to PC gaming that I haven't seen in a while.I would say it's one of the best PC games of all time More
by Harry Peters
Hatred has in interesting premise. Essentially, you're a lone villain fighting all of humanity. The game is highly violent and a little controversial. If you don't like the idea of murdering little old women, this isn't the game for you. Otherwise, you'll probably enjoy this game because it's good. More
by Jose Obrien
Hatred was a controversial game when released. You play as The Antagonist going on a murderous rampage against all of humanity. As var as villains go, you play as one of the worst. More
by Willie Munoz
I'm not too into this game. You ARE the villain, but what's your motivation?? At least it isn't too expensive
by meef von grau
hatred before black and white? are u guys joking, drunk or serious?
by Lori Dixon
Black & White is a role playing game unlike any other you've played before. You are the villian so you have control over the game. You an be evil or you can be kind. this game is challenging and fun and is will give you hours of enjoyment. More
by Gilberto Saucedo
This is great! I love that you can choose how to rule over the people. I COULD be a kind god, but where's the fun in that? Muahahahaha
by Julie Palmer
This is an interesting concept, where you can choose to be good or evil. This game ends up being a bit cliche, so you may or may not enjoy it.
EvilQuest
by María Elena Castellanos
I like a good story in my PC games and I really enjoy playing the villain sometimes. EvilQuest lets you be a knight with the power to seek revenge and destruction. It is a retro RPG game with great equipment and also some good music. More
by Doris Welch
I enjoy playing the villain in PC Games. EvilQuest is an RPG game where you play Galvis who is a knight consumed by his quest for power. Galvis is truly evil and it is a fun change from always playing the hero in games. More

The solution solves the problem in the topic perfectly. There are few games where you can be the villain, and the solution is one of the highest rated. More

Finally game were I get to be the bad guy. As an avid gamer I didn't have the choice to choose the bad guy as the game always had you play the good guy. Nefarious takes the traditional platformer game and flips it around. No longer are you stuck to into being the hero this game makes you the bad guy live out the dream most gamers want to be. This is a perfect game to be the villain. More
by Ann Lucas
"Reverse boss fights" might be the most fun thing I've done in a game like this in awhile. The setting and character designs were beautiful and a lot of fun, and getting to kidnap the princesses in so many different ways was the best. More
by Rachel Zhang
Kidnapping princesses and fighting off heros, sounds like your a bad guy alright. Seems to be an ok little game, I dont really understand how its any different than being the "hero" though. You are doing the same things. More
Necessary Evil is a video game developed by Stefano Gualeni and illustrated by Jimena Sanchez Sarquiz. This game can be played on Windows PC, Linux, and macOS computers.
by Donna Gonzalez
This game is kind of awesome. The game provides you with a kind of meta approach to video gaming, in which you are the villain. At first the psychological implications were kind of touchy for me, but I think the program is really cool. The game seems like it's really built upon you and your personality which is sort of frightening, but I think this is a great game to play if you're interested in playing the villain, without an overabundance of violent graphics! More
by Sean Robertson
Looks like an interesting idea, but it doesn't sound like a lot of fun. The website itself says it isn't very much fun for the player. At least it's free! More
by Alice Ray
Necessary Evil allows you to play video games from a perspective that some rarely think about. You are able to control not only your character, but the characters that your character interacts with. This game is free to play. More
