The film Tag is centered on a group of five friends that have always played a month-long game of tag since they were children. The main rule of the game is that the last person to get tagged will be “it” for the next year. One of the members is Jerry, and he has never been tagged in all the years they have played because of his cunning ability to avoid the friends during the month as well as his athleticism. To add to the fact that Jerry has never being tagged, it is announced that he will no longer be playing the game of tag after this year because he is getting married. The group of friends travels to Jerry’s wedding with the goal of being able to finally tag him in his final year. The group goes through many exciting adventures together in the pursuit of Jerry and a lot is revealed about their lives and their plans for the future as they are all growing up.
