The application covers a wide range of sports, including football, baseball, basketball, soccer, Formula One and cricket. Each of the different sports appears as a different tab in the ESPN ScoreCenter and you can flick between tabs using the arrow buttons at the bottom.

ESPN ScoreCenter gives you the ability to select your favorite teams, from any sport, and have their results appear on the front page of the app.

Essentially, ESPN ScoreCenter is just a front for ESPN's mobile web. The app itself only displays scores and results, so if you want more in-depth info, it'll pop open your browser and launch a web page. While it's a shame everything couldn't be packaged in the ESPN ScoreCenter app, the broadcaster's mobile site is so slick that this is forgivable.

Once you've been redirected to the ESPN Mobile Web Gamecenter you can follow games with play-by-play coverage, view stats, read about key players and much more.

Overall, ESPN ScoreCenter makes for an excellent sporting companion to help you follow games while you're out and about.
