Novum Smart Screen is a small yet innovative utility that allows you to automate your screen turning on/off based on proximity. It is available for Android users and is free to use. The app hardly uses any battery power, but it is important to note that if you do not use the screen lock option, your device will not go into deep sleep mode and will consume more battery power.
This app is fully customizable and comes with features such as automatic wake-up when you open the flip cover or take your device out of your pocket or bag, and automatic screen turn-off when you close the flip cover or put your device in your pocket or bag, as long as the sensor remains blocked. The app also has an autostart option on boot of the phone. Contact the developer if you want to help translate the app to your language.
