While Pokémon GO has lost some of its momentum over the years, the title remains a heavyweight in the mobile gaming arena. Niantic has certainly not stopped updating it and adding events, achievements, and more. Currently, the development team is working tirelessly to introduce the latest generation of Pokémon, which we’ve already encountered in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple. According to the announcement, our mobile devices will welcome Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxyl, and company starting next September.

Detective Pikachu Returns trailer

Detective Pikachu fans can breathe easy. Even though there are relatively few months left until the title’s release, Pokémon Presents has unveiled a new trailer for Detective Pikachu Returns, showcasing some of its new mechanics in action. The game will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch and is now available for pre-order on the eShop.

Mew and Mewtwo land in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple

It’s official: Mew and Mewtwo are coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Purple. Moreover, you can now add one of them to your team using the global code that Nintendo showcased during Pokémon Presents. New web series, Pokémon: Paldean Winds

Pokémon Stadium 2 and Pokémon: Trading Card Game arrive on Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo’s service has just added the classics Pokémon Stadium 2 and Pokémon: Trading Card Game to its catalog. If you have a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online, you can enjoy both of these great games starting today. On one hand, Pokémon Stadium 2 transports us to the Johto region, where we can choose from a whopping 251 Pokémon and challenge numerous gym leaders.

If you’re more into cards, you might be excited to revisit Pokémon: Trading Card Game. The Game Boy received an excellent title that offered us the chance to experience a classic Pokémon adventure with RPG mechanics and card battles.

Pokémon: Path to the Peak

The new Pokémon series, “Path to the Peak,” will depict the story of a girl who joins her school’s Pokémon card club. If you want to learn more about “Senda a la Cima,” stay tuned to YouTube: its first episode will premiere on August 11th.

We also got a glimpse of a new trailer for “Pokémon Horizons: The Series.” While there’s no release date yet, it’s anticipated to arrive sooner rather than later.

New DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Purple

During the closing moments of Pokémon Presents, Nintendo announced the arrival of ‘The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero,’ the DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Purple. The first installment, “The Teal Mask,” will be available on September 13, 2023, while its second part, “The Indigo Disk,” is set to arrive in winter 2023. The introduction of the Arándano League is one of its many novelties. Additionally, we’ll also be welcoming Dipplin, a new Pokémon resembling a candy apple.
