Having Disney+ nowadays is a guarantee of movies and series every month. Without a doubt, with all the offerings available on the service, the Disney app is among the most recommended currently, along with Netflix and HBO Max.
And since we’re here today to talk about new content arriving on the American streaming application, let’s dive into a series that you probably missed on the radar.
Disney+ has announced that “Asesinatos en el fin del mundo,” an original FX series, a limited mystery series set in the remote and isolated complex of a billionaire, will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on November 14th.
An original series that leaves no one indifferent
The series, formerly known as Retreat, stars Emma Corrin, Clive Owen, Harris Dickinson, and Brit Marling.
A Murder at the End of the World brings forth a new kind of detective: a Generation Z amateur detective and tech-savvy hacker named Darby Hart (played by Corrin).
Darby and eight other guests are invited by a reclusive billionaire (played by Owen) to participate in a retreat at a remote and luxurious location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must use all her skills to prove it was murder amid a tide of conflicting interests before the killer claims another life.

A Murder at the End of the World also stars Alice Braga, Joan Chen, Raúl Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, Ryan J. Haddad, Pegah Ferydoni, Javed Khan, Louis Cancelmi, Edoardo Ballerini, Britian Seibert, Christopher Gurr, Kellan Tetlow, Daniel Olson, and Neal Huff.
The series is created and directed by Marling and Zal Batmanglij. Marling and Batmanglij are also executive producers along with Andrea Sperling, Melanie Marnich, and Nicki Paluga.
The seven-episode limited series is produced by FX Productions and was filmed in Iceland, explaining the breathtaking landscapes seen in the promotional trailer for the series. It premieres on November 14 on Disney+.
