We’ve known for a while that Xbox loves to collaborate with different companies worldwide and release numerous designs for controllers, peripherals, and more. However, this latest move took us by surprise: Barbie is getting her own console.

In celebration of the upcoming Barbie movie release, Microsoft has joined forces with the film production to unveil a Barbie-themed Xbox Series S. Let us tell you, the console is stunning: entirely pink with a white base and the Barbie logo inscribed on the front. Similarly, the design of the Xbox controllers is a marvel, featuring the typical aesthetics that Barbie and Ken often sport in their outfits.

This console model is as special as Barbie herself, as it won’t be available for sale. To get your hands on this special edition Xbox Series S, you’ll need to participate in a contest taking place on July 10th. You can enter the contest through the Xbox Twitter account or via the Microsoft Rewards page, the same platform that allows us to enjoy exciting benefits through the company’s program.

But it doesn’t end there. In addition to the Barbie-themed console and controller, players of Forza Horizon 5 will have the opportunity to enjoy the 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV and the 2022 GMC Hummer EV. Both cars can be obtained completely free of charge and are the ones Barbie and Ken drive in the movie, respectively.

The Barbie movie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, is set to premiere on July 21, 2023. The film has generated high expectations, as what has been seen so far looks promising, and it’s undeniable that it will have that unmistakable Barbie touch throughout.
