Yesterday, OpenAI released some very interesting news for subscribers to ChatGPT Plus, the paid plan of the company’s well-known AI chatbot. To be precise, it was confirmed that these users, in addition to those with an enterprise subscription, could now access DALL-E3, something that had been previously announced a few weeks earlier.
Through a press release, OpenAI stated that they have taken the necessary security measures to be able to give more users access to their new model of the well-known text-based image generator. In fact, this DALL-E3 has also been incorporated into Bing Chat and Bing Image Generator, offering many options to access it, even more than those interested in getting into ChatGPT.
DALL-E3 comes to ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise
DALL-E3 allows the creation of images of all kinds from natural language instructions (prompts) within ChatGPT itself. One of the main new features of this new model, compared to the previous version, is that the interpretation of human body parts has been greatly improved. In fact, the intelligence of this service has improved in general with respect to DALL-E2, and longer and more descriptive prompts can now also be used to feed the imager.
These improvements, it seems, are possible thanks to its improved captioning technology, which is responsible for translating an input image into a textual description. In short, this DALL-E3 is now able to pay more attention to what users ask of it.
It is impossible not to mention the controversy of this type of generative AI, such as DALL-E, Midjourney or Stable Diffusion, since all of them have been in the focus of criticism since their beginnings. None of them has been free from copyright lawsuits and problems arising from some of the images generated with them, despite the fact that they have always tried to avoid this type of creations.
At the time, after a series of very offensive images, Microsoft adjusted the guidelines to prevent this type of content in its search engine, but users ended up managing in different ways to avoid these blocks. Now, with DALL-E3 and its respective arrival to ChatGPT Plus, OpenAI has implemented a multi-level security system to prevent such images, as well as not allowing content to be generated in the style of live artists.
