Bethesda is preparing to release the highly anticipated next-generation update for Fallout 4. Thanks to this patch, players will be able to enjoy a much more visually stunning version on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC.
This update will include new configuration options that will allow us to choose between better performance or prioritize quality. Bethesda assures that players will be able to play Fallout 4 at 60 FPS and with higher resolutions. They also clarify that in order to enjoy the update, players must own Fallout 4 within that console.
In addition to these improvements, PC players will also enjoy Fallout 4 like never before on wide and ultra-wide screens thanks to the implementation of a specific configuration for them. All of this is also accompanied by fixes in the Creation Kit and improvements in certain missions. Overall, we will be able to enjoy a more stable Fallout 4 and have no problems accessing mods. And if you also have a Steam Deck, you’re in luck: Fallout 4 is already verified on Valve’s handheld console.
Bethesda has also taken the opportunity to add more content: free items from the Creation Club, a new mission called “Echoes of the Past”, an improvised weapons pack, and 38 Halloween decorative items.
As if that weren’t enough, they haven’t forgotten about PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. They will receive another free update with many performance improvements, mainly focused on login and missions.
If you haven’t tried Fallout 4 yet, along with this update the game is now available to purchase within the Epic Games Store. Bethesda has certainly given us more than a good handful of reasons to return to the Commonwealth.
