Elon Musk would have canceled “The Don Lemon Show”, the program that American presenter Don Lemon was going to do exclusively for Twitter, after a recent interview with the owner of the platform. Lemon claims that Musk ended their collaboration a few hours after a “tense” interview between him and the billionaire.

Lemon has not wanted to clarify exactly what happened during his interview, only that Musk “is angry” with him. “Throughout our conversation, I kept repeating to him that, although it was sometimes tense, I thought it was good for people to see and hear our exchange, and that they would learn from our conversation,” Lemon said in a video posted on Twitter.

“Elon publicly encouraged me to join X with a new program, saying that I would have his ‘full support’, and that his ‘digital public square’ is for everyone,” Lemon says. “His commitment to a global public square where all questions can be asked and all ideas can be shared seems to not include questions from people like me“.

The CNN fired Lemon last year after making sexist comments towards former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley. The presenter is scheduled to air his interview with Musk, but it will no longer be exclusively on Twitter. The interview will be available on YouTube, podcast platforms, and Twitter on Monday, March 18th.
