Last week, Google surprised the world with an announcement: their AI chatbot, Bard, will now be called Gemini and will be available as a mobile app. In this way, the company unified their AI under the Gemini umbrella brand, which we have known about since last December, and made it easier for users to access it in order to compete head-to-head with ChatGPT from OpenAI.
While the launch of the new Gemini app was quite limited, the situation has started to change this week, with the expansion of the app to more regions. Starting today, Gemini for Android will be fully available in English in the United States, and will be available in more countries in the coming days, as stated on his Twitter account by Jack Krawczyk, from Google.
