We have previously talked about the movies that have triumphed at the Golden Globes, the precursor to the Oscars. But, unlike the Oscars, the ceremony last night also awards the best series of the year. And 2023 was incredible.
And if Oppenheimer triumphed in cinema, three series swept the television awards: The Bear in comedy, Succession in drama, and Beef in limited series. The only award that Netflix won was thanks to Elizabeth Debicki, who won a supporting actress trophy for The Crown, where she portrays Lady Di.

As you can see, Succession and The Bear have been the winners of this 2023 for the Golden Globes, which is curious, since at the Emmy Awards last week it was The Last of Us who managed to win almost all the awards.
But that’s the beauty of television, everyone has their opinion. And, honestly, all three have been top-notch series, a treat for the senses that we have enjoyed in 2023.
