You’re not dreaming, Rockstar has just released a surprise trailer for GTA 6 and it’s everything, absolutely everything, we asked for in this sixth installment. We’re going back to Vice City.
In a completely unexpected move by the American company, the trailer has been released almost a day before its official release date.
As Rockstar explained in a tweet a few minutes ago, after the video was leaked on YouTube by an anonymous user, they have decided to get ahead of the avalanche and premiere it on their channel in glorious 4K.
We confirm almost all the rumors
For years, rumors about GTA 6 have revolved around two fundamental aspects: the city where the game would take place and the protagonists. In both points, the information was clear: the city would be Vice City and the protagonist would be a woman, specifically a Latina woman.
And after watching the trailer, we can affirm that both conjectures couldn’t be more real. In other words, all those leaks that we have been publishing had much more foundation than many could suppose.
The protagonist, recently released from prison, will play the role of the famous fugitives and criminals Bonnie and Clyde, as we have been saying for over a year.
In addition to these two key aspects, and without knowing anything about the gameplay because they haven’t shown anything, Rockstar wanted to show us that GTA 6 is bigger and better than its predecessors: an immense city, lots of action in the streets, and social media on fire with parties, heists, and car races.
GTA 6 seems to be everything we dream of, everything any fan of the saga would have asked for. Right now we can’t even imagine how the GTA Online of this game will be, with more options, mechanics and destruction than ever before.
However, we will have to wait until 2025 to be able to play this GTA 6. That’s more than a year of waiting. A very tough wait, but one that we all expected: Rockstar always announces their releases well in advance.
