“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” marked the definitive farewell of Marvel Studios’ most popular squad. Depending on what they can do now that James Gunn has moved on to the Distinguished Competition, the Guardians as we knew them have disbanded, and it doesn’t seem like we’ll be seeing more movies from them for a long time.

However, this doesn’t mean that their characters have nothing more to offer us. It was already clear that Peter Quill had more story to tell, this time on Earth, and Groot is another character who will continue to bring us joy in his own way. “I Am Groot” is a series of animated shorts that imagines the character in his baby form experiencing all kinds of adventures… and its second season has just been released on Disney Plus.

A highly entertaining series for audiences of all ages

It’s clear that “I Am Groot” is not the most significant series from Marvel Studios. We won’t see predictions about the studio’s future or (generally) very interesting cameos. However, it’s a perfect series for kids that can be enjoyed in each of its episodes.

The first season of “I Am Groot” already treated us to very special moments that allow us to see the character from a different perspective. Even though he’s an adult now, in the series, he remains a child, and that makes it very special in terms of perspective and point of view.

Now, the creators of “I Am Groot” have made a second season while keeping everything that makes it special: it has no pretensions and only aims to entertain, make people laugh, and provide a good time for the youngest members of the household. It’s a must-watch if your kids are Marvel fans.
