While Overwatch is no longer what it used to be, many games seek to be the game that replaces it. No other multiplayer shooter has achieved its popularity not only among the community of fans of this type of games, but among players in general. And as Overwatch has fallen into disgrace due to the decisions of its developers, now the void to occupy is more present than ever. If that is even possible.

Marvel Rivals is the game that wants to occupy that space. It seems that it is also venturing into the console territory. Because although it was announced last March, exclusively for PC, leaker Dreamz Gaming has discovered that it will also arrive on consoles, specifically Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5. Because although until now we only had rumors about them, he has found references to hidden consoles in the game’s website source code.

If you don’t know Marvel Rivals, it is a 6 vs. 6 game where each character has a series of unique characteristics and powers. With dynamically changing scenarios, as its name suggests, the game will feature iconic Marvel characters, of which there are already more than twenty confirmed. Something we already told you last March.

Although Marvel Rivals is one of the most anticipated games of 2024, it still doesn’t have a release date. We know it will have a closed alpha, exclusive to PC first, at some point in the future, but we still don’t have all the details. That’s why it is expected that, in the coming months, we will know more about this game that aspires to be everything that Overwatch is no longer.
