If you’re a Netflix subscriber but not an HBO Max subscriber, we have some exciting news for you: many of HBO Max’s series are coming to Netflix. Yes, you read that right – these shows will be available on the streaming service of their competitor. However, there’s a catch – not all of them will be included. So, if you were hoping to watch Game of Thrones or The Last of Us, we regret to inform you that won’t be the case.

As pointed out by Variety and Deadline, some series from the HBO catalog will end up coming to Netflix. For example, two of them are the award-winning The Pacific and Band of Brothers, really good fictions and from here we recommend you see them now. Likewise, other series such as Six Feet Under, the five seasons of Insecure or the sports comedy Ballers, which stars the always charismatic The Rock, will also make an appearance.

Just like these series, we also have others that will appear in different territories. For example, True Blood will be available on Netflix outside the United States, and the same might happen with other shows in different countries.

This strategy by HBO has been previously announced: they aim to maximize revenue by licensing their most famous series. Therefore, it is likely that in the coming months, we will see many of these shows not only arriving on Netflix but also on other streaming platforms. They may not be the latest releases, but if they include a gem like Band of Brothers, every penny spent will be worth it.
