It hasn’t been the first time he has appeared on the cover… and it won’t be the last. Kobe Bryant repeats as the face for the cover of NBA 2K24. The company has just announced this information through a press release and their official social media channels, unveiling the new cover featuring the former Los Angeles Lakers player as the main protagonist.

In this case, NBA 2K24 will feature two different editions. The first one is called the Kobe Bryant Edition, which showcases the legendary basketball player in full body, sporting a more youthful face reminiscent of his early days in the league rather than towards the end of his career. In fact, this edition is presumed to be the more basic version (no further details have been revealed to date, although all signs point to that).

The second edition is named the Black Mamba edition, precisely portraying a more mature Bryant who has rightfully earned the moniker of Mamba. This cover does not show Bryant in full body but instead features a side-profile of his face, with a glimpse of his jersey number visible on his back.

Kobe Bryant, an 18-time NBA All-Star, five-time NBA champion, two-time NBA Finals MVP, two-time Olympic gold medalist, and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, has been a cover athlete for NBA 2K for quite some time, both while he was alive and even after his passing.

As of now, we don’t have a specific release date for NBA 2K24. Once we have more details, you’ll be the first to know.
