It is clear that The Hunger Games is one of the franchises that worked best throughout the previous decade. Starring Jennifer Lawrence —who managed to become one of the most acclaimed actresses in Hollywood after her role—, the film saga based on the books by Suzanne Collins managed to conquer the hearts of those who grew up with Harry Potter and/or Twilight.

But The Hunger Games didn’t stop at the original trilogy – or tetralogy, if we count that Mockingjay was divided into two parts – but last year it was expanded with a highly anticipated prequel: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. The movie did well at the box office, although it didn’t surpass the numbers of the previous ones, and all fans of The Hunger Games praised it. Now, the movie is coming to streaming thanks to Amazon Prime Video.

From now on, the film released in theaters last November is available online. Also directed by Francis Lawrence, who was in charge of adapting the saga from Catching Fire, the film is a return to Panem in the most epic way possible: telling the story of the 10th Hunger Games, the most critical ones remembered.

Set in a post-apocalyptic Panem, the prequel to The Hunger Games takes us back several decades before the adventures of Katniss Everdeen. Young Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth) will be the mentor of Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler), the girl selected as tribute from the impoverished District 12. The young girl will surprise everyone by singing at the opening ceremony of the Tenth Hunger Games, in which Snow will try to take advantage of her talent and charm to survive.
