The Agbar Tower is impressive. From all angles it can be seen, being as much a part of the city of Barcelona as any other emblematic building. Only the Sagrada Familia can look down on this great tower.

For this reason, it is common to see climbers trying to reach the top without a harness or ropes, at full stretch and with the strength of their hands and arms. It’s not easy.

What for them is fun, the reality is that it is a very dangerous task, where they can die and, in turn, kill a passerby passing by on the street.

Two climbers have climbed the Barcelona Tower today, May 8

According to what we have been able to read in social networks today, two people have started to climb the Agbar Tower in Barcelona. The dangerous thing is that they have done this without permits from the police and the building. They have arrived and started climbing.

This, of course, is illegal. For many reasons. First because they can kill themselves, which is not allowed in this country, where suicide is… illegal. Yes. You read that right.

And then because they can fall and endanger passersby. A person falling from a fourth floor can already kill another person passing below. Imagine if someone falls from 30 meters high. The blow can destroy a car.

Both are now in custody

As we have been able to read, the two climbers are now arrested and reported. Because when these things happen, not only do the police arrest the offenders, they are also denounced.

For that reason the two offenders have been taken to court. But, as usual in these cases, tonight they will not sleep in the dungeon. Once identified and denounced, they no longer have to remain at the police station.
