That the Roblox phenomenon is far from over is something we all know quite well. The popular video game continues to attract an increasing number of users to its platform, which in turn results in more players enjoying the games created or making more money by developing them. Because yes, let’s not forget: you can make money with Roblox, and the company is very clear about what the next step is.

According to what has been published by VentureBeat, users will now be able to sell both the avatar body and the head to continue generating income. With this move, the company is also aiming to monetize other areas that are different yet tangential to the product, as is the case with avatars.

As per the published text, bodies and avatars must adhere to community standards, company policies, and guidelines, and they need to pass a prior check to ensure they don’t violate any intellectual property or cause issues. What does this mean? Well, it implies that if you want to create a highly recognizable character, such as an anime or movie character, you will encounter significant complications when it comes to allowing its sale.

On the other hand, both the avatar’s body and head must adhere to a minimum and maximum size. The idea is to ensure compatibility across all games and maintain the integrity of the overall development. Creators will receive 30% of the total price for each of their creations and an additional 40% in other concepts. In total, every user dedicated to creating avatars and successfully selling them will earn 70% of the total.

Thanks to this new addition, Roblox continues to demonstrate that its goal isn’t just to increase the company’s profits, but also to empower players to earn more money from their creations.
