As much as the defenders of soccer with Farias in their mouths and carajillo in their bodies pull their hair out, the truth is that it is obvious that women’s soccer is here to stay. And the proof is the growing interest in players like Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmati. If the semifinal was already followed by an overwhelming 45% of the share, the final is not going to fall short.

Where and how to watch the final

Someday we will see the inaction of many of the so-called “soccer fans” before the presence of Spain in the final of the World Cup, the first time in history since the competition was established in 1991. But the truth is that much of the country will be glued tomorrow, despite whoever it may concern, to La 1, where it will be broadcasted from 12 noon onwards. In addition, it can be seen live on RTVE Play, a goal that was not expected and that is helping the public channel to beat Telecinco in audiences for the second consecutive month.

But England will not make it easy: it is also their first final in the tournament and they are eager to win. And there is nothing better than watching it accompanied, so different cities will install giant screens, such as Huelva, Zaragoza, Gijón, Laredo, Albacete, Toledo, Burgos, Segovia, Valladolid, Mérida, Pontevedra, A Coruña, Palma de Mallorca, Alcobendas, Yecla, Pamplona and Valencia.

As the two largest cities, it is worth noting that in Barcelona it will be available from 11 am at the CEM Olímpicos Vall d’Hebron for up to 2000 people and in Madrid it will be at the WiZink, so that up to 6000 people can enjoy (tickets were sold out in just 55 minutes, by the way). Oh, and from 11 o’clock there will be a fan zone in the Plaza Felipe II with face painting and much more.

There are few excuses not to enjoy a match that could change everything, even more, in the history of soccer in our country, leaving without arguments those who still seem to live in the Middle Ages. Cheer up, lionesses!
