Tatsuki Fujimoto, creator of Chainsaw Man, is in luck. After the success of the anime adaptation of his main work, the mangaka is going to receive a new adaptation. Specifically, it will be for his work Look Back, a one-shot that is very popular among critics and the public, which, curiously, has little or nothing to do with the tone of Chainsaw Man.
Look Back will premiere in Japan in a couple of months, although we don’t have dates for when it will arrive in the rest of the countries. With a similar tone to Makoto Shinkai’s films, it promises to be a movie full of emotion and tears. Its trailer has just been released, so you can judge it for yourselves:
What is Look Back about?
Look Back focuses on Fujino, a young girl who firmly believes in her own talent, and Kyomoto, a girl who never leaves her room. The unstoppable passion for drawing manga brings together these two girls who live in a remote town, creating a bond that will make them break free from their mundane lives.
