It is impossible for Marvel to run out of ideas for their characters, because when they run out of known universes, they start with the multiverses. And when those run out, they start with a round of hypothetical situations called “What If…”. The point is to keep the wheel spinning.

Just like the previous installment of the animated series, season 2 of What If…? will explore stories in which the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe unfold differently, with this latest installment based on the storylines of Phase 4 of the MCU.

The new episodes of season 2 of “What If…” will be released daily during the Christmas period, starting on December 22nd, with episode titles that pose questions like “What if… Iron Man crashed into the Grandmaster”, “What if… the Avengers assembled in 1602?”, and the Christmas-themed episode “What if… Happy Hogan Saved Christmas”.
