Marvel Studios is on the verge of taking a big risk with one of the least promising films, in terms of box office potential, in its entire history. The Marvels got off to a bad start with very negative reviews of its early images and trailers, and the lack of excitement from the series and movies it stems from has only cast doubt over the film.
Considering how poorly the recent Marvel Studios productions have performed and at a crucial moment for their future, the movie’s release is imminent. However, before that, the studio is not giving up. To salvage the situation, they have released a final trailer that, interestingly, is nothing like what we have seen before. In fact, the Avengers even make an appearance in it. All in an effort to rescue as much of the audience as possible before this impending disaster hits. Watch the video inside:
A much more epic adventure than it promised to be
Instead of focusing on the camaraderie of the three protagonists, the latest trailer for The Marvels has even omitted one of them (Ms. Marvel) to present a video filled with epic moments, where it seems that the emphasis will be on pure action. In fact, the film’s villain appears much more in this trailer than in the previous ones.
With much more epic music and action aplenty, this trailer promises a quite different adventure from the previous ones, where humor and everyday life were predominant. We still don’t know which of these two types of trailers will resemble the final product more, but we don’t have to wait much longer to find out. We have a date in theaters on November 9th.
