Hold on to your seat, because there are some twists ahead. Moreover, the post also confirms when the highly awaited series will premiere.

While we already knew that the upcoming Prime Video series would feature Vault 33, a previously unseen location in the Fallout saga, up until now, we didn’t know where in the United States it would be located. What’s the chosen location in the end? None other than the city of Los Angeles.

In their recent post, Prime Video has announced that the action of the Fallout series will take place in the renowned city of the state of California, one of the prominent locations in the Fallout video game saga. Furthermore, the streaming platform has also taken the opportunity to confirm that the series will arrive in 2024, although they haven’t specified the exact month or day when we can expect to watch it.

The Next Big Series Based on a Video Game?

Fallout is arguably one of the most beloved video game franchises among Bethesda fans. Set in a retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic world inspired by the nuclear paranoia of the 1950s, the Fallout series tends to leave no one indifferent (in every sense), and many voices were clamoring for a movie or series adaptation.

And Amazon granted our wish. In July 2020, Prime Video announced that they had acquired the rights to develop a Fallout series, with Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, the creators of the popular series Westworld, at the helm.

Two years later, leaked images showed us several sets of the Fallout series and made us all eager to know more. But we didn’t have to wait long; just a few months later, for the franchise’s 25th anniversary, Prime Video unveiled the first image of the series, featuring 3 people about to leave Vault 33.

After the great success of series based on video games like Arcane or The Last of Us, Fallout could be the next series to stand out in the television landscape and encourage many viewers to play the saga for the first time. However, for now, we can only wait. And hopefully, it won’t be for too long.
