Attention, sailors: the beta of Sea of Thieves is now available for players who had pre-ordered any version of the game before its release, which will take place at the end of this month. Thus, PS5 players will now be able to access the title developed by Rare.
Participants will have until April 15th at 9:00 UTC to enjoy the beta. Until then, you can earn renown, coins, and many cosmetic rewards as part of Season 11. Once the beta is over, all progress and items earned will be transferred to the full game when it is released. Additionally, you will also receive 10 levels of recognition towards the progression of the future Season 12.
In addition to our progress, the trophies won will also be reflected upon the release of Sea of Thieves, more or less. While you won’t be able to earn them during the beta, “the progress to obtain them will be recorded”. This will allow them to be unlocked instantly once the game is released.
PlayStation 5 players will be able to purchase Sea of Thieves on April 30, 2024.
