For millions of fans, the Venezuelan musical duo Chino & Nacho was a sensation in Latin America and the West for their infectious music, their lyrics and their unique style. It is impossible to forget Mi niña bonita.
Today we want to remember the history of this musical group that achieved success long before figures like Bad Bunny transformed Latin music into a worldwide hit. There were pioneers like Chino y Nacho, so today we honour their memory.
This is the story of Chino and Nacho
Chino & Nacho formed in 2007 and quickly began to make a name for themselves in the Latin American music scene.
With their romantic lyrics and catchy melodies, the duo captivated millions of fans across the continent. Some of their most popular songs include “Mi Niña Bonita”, “Andas en Mi Cabeza”, “Me Voy Enamorando”, among others.
Chino & Nacho’s popularity was consolidated with their participation in several television contests in Venezuela, which allowed them to become known nationally.

Soon after, their music began to be played on the radio and in nightclubs throughout the country, which allowed them to expand internationally and become a phenomenon throughout Latin America.
Millions of boys and girls fell in love listening to the music of Chino & Nacho. At the dawn of YouTube, their video clips were a hit.
However, in 2017, Chino & Nacho announced that they were splitting up to pursue solo careers. While it has not been explained exactly why they split, it has been suggested that creative differences were the main cause.
Despite their separation, Chino & Nacho left an impressive musical legacy and continue to be remembered for their music and their impact on Latin popular culture.
The last time Chino & Nacho were seen together publicly was at Premios Juventud in July 2021. In early 2017, the musicians announced their separation.
What happened to Chino and why he is in wheelchair
While Nacho has had problems with the law, which has led him to enter special reinsertion clinics, it is Chino who has really worried fans because, according to reports, he was on the verge of death.
The singer’s wife, Natasha Araos, shared publicly that Chino had been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, a condition that caused him to cramp every five minutes, which led him to remain paralyzed after SARS-CoV-2 triggered his nervous system to fail.
Luckily, and as we see in the TikTok we have shared, the Venezuelan singer is recovering satisfactorily. He can be seen laughing, he can be seen singing and everyone seems happy. According to his entourage, his return to music is imminent.
