Despite the efforts of Elon Musk to improve (in his opinion) the network formerly known as Twitter, things haven’t turned out as he probably expected. The changes introduced haven’t quite caught on among users and X has continued to accumulate controversies, such as the advertising boycott in response to Musk’s support of an antisemitic conspiracy theory.

However, no one beats heavy. Through XBusiness, the network has made a small balance of the past 2023, where they claim to have “laid the foundational foundations of X” and also announce that “2024 will be transformative”. So much so that among their objectives, they aim to make X a kind of “all-in-one application”.

In the post, the X team has focused on highlighting some of the milestones that the platform has achieved in 2023. They talk about the priority they have given to videos, the introduction of Grok, and the improvement of sections such as Spaces and Communities, among others.

Focus on content creators, better ads, and finances: these are some of the improvements that X will bring in 2024

One of X’s main priorities for 2024 is focused on money. Musk already said last summer that he wanted to turn X into a sort of financial epicenter, so that users could manage their own economy. One of the new features we will see this year, peer-to-peer payments, will be the first step in this direction.

As expected, X will also receive its fair share of artificial intelligence. The network will enhance user experience with advertising through the use of AI: this ranges from improving searches and ads to understanding the customer in a deeper way.

In addition to advertising, AI will also be used to display more interesting and relevant content for users. XBusiness mentions the use of xAI for this, the technology developed by X itself. 

Digital creators will come out better off financially in 2024. X claims that they will continue to “invest in creators” to “attract new users and enhance advertising”.
