After almost a year of testing, Twitch will launch a new feed for mobile users at the end of this month, in the purest TikTok style: the Discovery Feed. During the last TwitchCon, the platform confirmed that this new feed would allow users to discover new creators in a vertical video format.
The Discovery Feed will be available as a tab in the mobile app, although some users will see it directly when starting Twitch. The streaming platform ensures that any broadcast that complies with the content guidelines may appear in this feed.
Users will be able to discover content from the creators they follow, as well as Twitch recommended streams. If something catches your attention, simply click on the creator’s avatar. From there, you can watch it and interact directly with the live stream.
Twitch has also taken notice of Instagram and will launch a very similar format to Stories, which will be located at the top of the application. As if that weren’t enough, users will be able to use a new clip editor from within the same application. These are very interesting updates that are sure to catch the attention of mobile users.
